ZU-EPL was a Jora which I owned with partners some years back. This is footage of a fly in we did to the Tankwa Karoo. It was a barnstorming trip where we landed on the R355 between Ceres and Calvinia which holds the record for being the longest, uninterrupted dirt road in South Africa.
We flew out on the Saturday from Stellenbosch airfield and slept under the stars on the R355. Sunday morning saw a cooler day and as we took off for the flight back to Cape Town. We ran into cloud at Ceres and ducked under it and through over Mitchell's Pass routing direction Vogelvlei and then back to Stellenbosch (FASH).
This is the video of the trip.
